Fairfield Inn & Suites Cartersville

The staff made this short stay really memorable. Sair checked us in quickly and was kind and funny. Erica, the manager, was warm and humble, and even arranged gift baskets for our stay to celebrate. She was funny and very professional. Nathan was amazing at breakfast too, even though it was only his second day. I can’t believe how good the staff at this Marriott location are. It’s a hidden diamond. Our room was spacious and clean, and there was plenty of parking, plus a pool and fitness area. The breakfast was delicious. I’m grateful for the staff’s hard work and dedication every day.

I’d only consider staying here if the other hotels in the area were booked, and I doubt I’d return. The mattresses were old and lumpy, there was a cockroach in the room, and one of the TVs didn’t work. After my shower, the faucet broke and kept running boiling water. A technician had to come fix it around midnight. The place wasn’t horrible, but the maintenance really needs attention.

We had no issues, enjoyed the pool, and thought breakfast was great. Everyone treated my husband and me wonderfully for my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond. Erika, the manager, was amazing. Thanks for taking such good care of me on my birthday. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area.

A week after our stay, I discovered the hotel had charged my card twice, for two different amounts. I spoke with manager Jauque twice, but he assured me my card hadn’t been used and didn’t know how to resolve it. It’s been three weeks with no solution, and I’m waiting to hear back from corporate. This location needs to be audited. We’d stopped because of bad weather while traveling. The online reservation and check-in were easy, but the mattresses on platforms were VERY uncomfortable.
