Hilton Reservations mistakenly booked two rooms when I had clearly asked for one room for two adults and a pet. At checkout, I was given a receipt for just one room, so I didn't realize they'd charged me for the second until I saw my credit card statement. I've called the manager many times and still haven't gotten a resolution. They should have easily fixed this by refunding the extra room I never requested. The customer service has been very poor, and I'm never staying here again.

The room was clean and had plenty of space. I spent the weekend here, though I didn't interact with staff much. The few times I did, they were courteous and professional, and seemed to care about their work. I'd be glad to stay again when I get the chance.

The breakfast selection was good, but no one seemed to keep an eye on it or refill items regularly. The meat and eggs sat in an unheated glass bakery case, so we had to microwave everything. The front desk man was honest and offered to let me check out early. He said they'd had at least 13 complaints in the last month. That's an astonishing number, especially since the problem seems known and reviews suggest it's been going on for a while. At first, we thought the place seemed decent enough for the choices around Cartersville. Then we noticed most of the utensils and cutlery were dirty and had to wash them before use. The carpets and floors were rough, and the room smelled musty. We killed around five ladybugs each day, which I initially brushed aside. One night they were everywhere, emerging from the air conditioning units and covering floors, couch, and walls. Under each of the two units in our room were at least twenty ladybugs, mostly alive, along with a couple of roaches. A few bugs and an infestation are very different things, and I was disgusted. If they actually fixed the bug problem and improved housekeeping, this could probably be a fantastic hotel. It's especially disappointing from a Hilton brand property.

It was a short visit, but everything worked out great. Check-in was fast, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It had what I needed for a quick trip. I'd stay here again and recommend it.
