Fremont Hotel & Casino

The valet is top tier, and this could be a fun place if you’re looking for a party. I’ve enjoyed other Boyd hotels, so I expected this location to be great, but there wasn’t much to recommend beyond the valet. In four days, we never got maid service, including fresh towels or trash removal. The first night brought what felt like endless sirens, fire truck honking, loud revving exhaust, music, screaming, and partying. We called the concierge in the morning to ask about a quieter room, only to learn ours, 919 just off the elevators, was considered part of the “quiet zone.” We were locked into the rooms because we’d missed the cancellation window, and during NFR it wasn’t easy to move to another hotel. If service and sleep matter to you, this may not be the place.

When Fremont Street is packed, the Fremont Hotel & Casino is a lifesaver for non-guests who need a restroom. The bathrooms are accessible, clean, and easy to find, which I really appreciated during a long “breakout” walk along the street. Thanks for being so welcoming!

The location was great, and I spent the night in a really clean, comfortable room. I’m not certain, but it felt like the rooms had been remodeled recently. The main letdown was the staff in general. Nobody seemed happy or like they cared whether we were there, and we didn’t see anyone smile.

The food was a highlight: Tomo, Mr Magoos, Tony Romas, and Steak n Shake, with plenty of other choices close by too. The location was perfect, and I found a new favorite slots BONUS. Loved everything about the stay. The staff were wonderful in every interaction, and the room was just right for what we needed.
