Park MGM Las Vegas Hotel

Even near the airport, the room was quiet and well organized, which I especially appreciated. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, a nice place to rest after a long flight. The convenient airport location also makes travel easy and stress free. I’d recommend staying here for either business or leisure.

The air felt noticeably better here than in other Strip casinos because the hotel and casino areas are completely non-smoking. My wife and I stayed three nights and left very impressed. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in after all that walking. Just plan around there being no in-room fridge or coffee maker. Eatly was where we made most of our food purchases without reservations. The tram to Aria and Belaigio was also fantastic and easy to use. This will be our first choice next time we come to Vegas.

I like Park MGM because it’s smoke free and doesn’t have strong scents. The rooms are nice and clean, but they can’t guarantee a pet free room. The air conditioning also wasn’t very cool, and the room wasn’t cleaned daily. Service was mediocre. Front desk staff were nice but couldn’t resolve anything. My reservation said I had a comped room, but at check in I was charged for most nights. The front desk sent me to the VIP area, they sent me to the Reward’s desk, and the rewards desk sent me back to the front desk. Nothing got resolved. I hope the next stay goes better.

The photo in room 306 on Floor 10 was quite disturbing. It showed a young, underage girl scantily dressed, looking frightened and unsure, seemingly being coaxed into a vehicle. As a parent of a young daughter, and given concerns about child trafficking, I found it completely inappropriate and it bothered me throughout the stay. I strongly encourage management to remove it. We also had several practical problems. The hot water went out in one room on Friday evening, near bedtime, so we took a cold shower rather than calling for service. Neither of our two rooms had the robes we’d had during our previous stay, and I didn’t bring one or want to walk through public areas in a swimsuit. The pool and hot tub I enjoyed last time were closed, despite being told they’d be open until March. They were already closed by February 26, when we arrived. This was our second trip to Las Vegas and Park MGM, but with these issues I’m unlikely to return. I also feel it’s appropriate to warn others on social media that better hotel options likely exist.
