We got caught in a huge storm on the way home from a trip to San Antonio, so we pulled in for the night without expecting much. The room smelled wonderful, was very clean, and we had no issues at all. They gave us an incredible military discount, and the price was almost half of what we’d paid for a terrible motel on the way down, while the room was twice as nice. We’ll be back on our next trip down.

The staff were friendly and ready to help. We had a two-bed suite, and I found the beds comfortable. It’s easy to get around from here, close to what you might need, and seems suitable for a short or long stay. I’ll come back when I need to.

I booked one night through Expedia, arriving January 25 and checking out January 26. When we got there, the hotel had no lights, so I told the front desk we wouldn’t be staying. She said she understood, promised a refund, took my name and number, and said management would call. I waited a few days, then called again on January 28. They took my details again and said someone would contact me. On February 5, I called and got voicemail, but the mailbox was full. I called again today and it was still full with no answer. Now I’m contacting Wyndom reservations and filing a complaint.

The woman at the front desk was great and her customer service was awesome. Unfortunately, the place itself was awful. The WiFi didn’t work, neither did the TV, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. The best western in town is the better place to stay.

The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Front desk service was really great, and the water pressure made for a shower I enjoyed. Some parts of the room showed wear, especially the bathroom. I’d have preferred a bar of soap for both the shower and sink. We enjoyed our one-night stay.
