Nakesha’s warm welcome and fresh cookies had me smiling as soon as I walked in. The room was clean and nice, and Monte was polite and kind at dinner. At breakfast, Taylor, Cecilia, and the chef were professional and did a great job with the grits. Thank you all for making our 18th anniversary feel like the ultimate stay!

The pool was freezing, definitely not heated. Other guests and their kids came down excited to swim, then went back to their rooms after trying the water. I chose this place for a winter weekend with my wife because she loves swimming and the website, hotel materials, and online listing all advertised an indoor heated pool. Very disappointing.

We’ve been traveling for a month and switching between IHG, Hilton, and Marriott. At this Hilton, the rooms were clean and the hallways always smelled nice. I used the laundry room too, and it wasn’t crowded. We liked the homey feel when we checked in a few days before Christmas, and the kids appreciated getting warm cookies as Hilton Honors members.

The service from Monty, Drew, Shelly, and the GM was phenomenal, even with the GM working with an arm in a sling. We were greeted by name at check-in, the bar, breakfast, and housekeeping, and the staff really worked to make our stay good. The hotel was clean, the food and drinks were good, and the location was convenient. My dad arrived feeling under the weather and left feeling much healthier, thanks to the Doubletree team.

There’s plenty to do nearby, and downtown is within easy reach if you need it. The lobby bar is open and comfortable, with very good food. The pool and fitness center were nice, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were friendly. Worth a try.
