Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham Research Triangle

At the marketing event over the weekend, the staff kept our water pitchers full and were respectful while sessions were underway. The room was clean and smelled fresh, and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a 10/10; dinner was good too, though a little pricey, which is what you expect for hotel food. Looking forward to coming back next quarter.

I’m on the road for work five days a week, and this is one of my favorite hotels. Nabeel at the front desk made me feel very welcome and even took an interest in my passion for cricket. Such a delightful experience.

We needed to add a night because of incoming weather, and the staff were very accommodating. The check-in team was fabulous, and breakfast each morning was enjoyable. They cleared dishes promptly, and whenever we passed staff in the hall, they smiled and said hello. A very pleasant weekend conference stay.

We left after midnight, after being moved through three rooms and spending more than $180 out of pocket to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary. I’m a long-time Hilton Honors member and frequent Embassy Suites guest, and this was a huge inconvenience that wasn’t our fault. The manager said he’d return the rewards points I used and add 20,000 more, but that doesn’t make the experience acceptable. We had to drive again in 20-degree weather, and I won’t stay at this location again, even for free. I’d reserved one night, 2/7/2026-2/8/2026, at Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham Research Triangle, 201 Harrison Oaks Boulevard in Cary, NC. We checked in after 9 pm on 2/7/2026 and got room 227. I sanitized everything, then my wife arrived after 10 pm. We wanted showers, but the tub was holding water because it drained extremely slowly. I told the front desk and we were moved to 229. After checking the tub drained properly, I sanitized the room again. The thermostat showed 66 degrees and wouldn’t switch to heat after several attempts. The desk told me to set it higher and wait, but that didn’t work either. They moved us a third time, to room 714, after 11 pm. The room had a warm, foul smell as soon as we opened the door, like it had been shut up without ventilation for months. We went to talk to the manager on duty. He interrupted my wife repeatedly, and then said there was a problem with the heat. I told him I didn’t appreciate how he spoke to and cut her off. By then it was after midnight and the place no longer felt adequate for us, so we left.
