DISGUSTING. There were roaches in the room, and when I asked to move, the front desk said no rooms were available, even though three people, including me, were there. The front desk man said I had brought the roaches in and that they wouldn’t be there if I let housekeeping in. He said my cat would have to be out of the room for housekeeping to come. Housekeeping was banging on doors no matter how early and screaming at me because she couldn’t speak English. My cat got scared by the banging and yelling, and I couldn’t get her into her carrier to take her out into the cold. To be specific, the roach was a German cockroach, which live in walls, pipes, etc. If skipping housekeeping caused roaches, every do-not-disturb room in America would have an infestation.

Nothing fancy, just a comfortable, clean basic room with nice bedding and a good shower and bath. It looked recently updated. The only small issue was the highway noise, since the hotel is very close to the hotel.

The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, but both rooms were dirty. In the first, there was dried food on and in the bed and bedspread, dirt and tree debris in the beds, a dusty dresser, an unswept floor, and no toilet paper stocked. We asked to switch rooms. The second was cleaner than the first, but still dirty, with used tissues from previous guests filling the nightstand and another unswept floor. I don’t expect much from a $75 motel room, but I do expect it to be clean. Housekeeping needs to be held accountable.

There were roaches riding around on dune buggies, eating through the drywall and the doorknobs. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
