The tucked-away setting seemed quiet and safe, and we had a great stay. The bed was just okay, though, and the walls are thin. Both mornings I woke up to a neighbor's alarm. Aside from that, I'd recommend the place.

I really liked the friendly, communal feel, with plenty of other guests to chat and spend time with. The hot tub felt private and screened off, even though it was right by the road. From the front porch you couldn't hear traffic, since the freeway was on the other side of the mountain, and it was nice to sit there and enjoy the evening. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, much nicer than I expected. The location was just right, and I'll put this place near the top of my list for my next trip.

The hot tub, showers, and setting were all lovely, and everything aside from the bed was five-star for us. The mattress felt cheap and was especially hard. My wife could hardly sleep, and we both woke up with stiff backs. If you like a very firm bed, it may be fine, but anyone wanting a quality mattress might be let down.

We had a very comfortable mattress and a cozy, well-equipped room, so we thoroughly enjoyed our night here in Green Mountain Falls. It's just a few minutes' walk to the lake, hiking, restaurants, and bars. We'd definitely come back.
