The cottages are thoughtfully laid out for comfort and have nice amenities. After busy days of hiking, we especially appreciated the shower’s water pressure. Scott, the owner, gave us several good dining suggestions over the phone. We also met the managers, James and Lee, who were friendly and shared useful tips and handouts for exploring the Gorge. It’s a quiet, convenient stop close to the road and other attractions. We’d definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

A charming, old-fashioned roadside motel, with each room set up as its own little cabin. We had one of the larger units, with a full kitchen, two beds, and a cozy couch. The shower was great, parking was right beside the cabin, and the manager was friendly.

The host knew the area well and suggested several outdoor places we hadn’t heard about. We tried them and thought they were all terrific. Local dining was reasonably good and priced, and the riverside park was very clean. The stay was comfortable, clean, and convenient, and we’ll be back!

Our short stay at the Cascade Motel was a great find. We like staying in locally owned places, often away from the main tourist spots, and this one was clean and really cute. The TV gave us trouble, but Lisa, the manager, came right down and fixed it for us.

This cozy place got the details right. The AC was the best I’ve had in a rented room, keeping the temperature just right. The shower had strong pressure and stayed at a steady temperature, too. It was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Highly recommend.
