Columbia Gorge Inn

The manager has been incredibly friendly and accommodating, even lending us dishes and silverware after we forgot plates and forks for dinner. When another child joined our trip and our plans changed, he gave us a great deal on an extra room. The view is lovely, and the area is peaceful and quiet. We’re really enjoying this little break from the city.

For a one-night stay, the room was solid and the price was good. The manager/owner was very sweet and accommodating when we were running behind. We had a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. The bed and pillows felt a little stiff, but it was a very good experience and I’ll definitely be back in the way future.

We enjoyed a night off the PCT here. For hikers, it seems like one of the best places to rest and get organized, with a local grocery store right next to the INN. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Artie at reception has a good heart and is funny and very likeable. Very nice place.

I came to town for a few days and stayed at this older hotel. It was a pleasant visit, with a clean, quiet room, a comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. I appreciated the extra towels and how quickly they responded when I needed to find a place to stay at the last minute. The property shows its age in some of the furnishings and decor, which could use a refresh. Still, the warm welcome and excellent service made up for the dated parts. From check-in on, every interaction with who I believe was the owner felt friendly, helpful, and genuine. They clearly care about guests and creating a comfortable atmosphere. The location is handy for local restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions. It’s a good base if you care more about hospitality than flashy amenities. If you want a luxurious, ultra-modern hotel, this may not be the place. But for a welcoming, dependable stay with great service, I highly recommend it and will return next time I’m in town.
