Quality Inn & Suites Caseyville - St. Louis

This place desperately needs better management and cleaning. The advertised breakfast was cancelled without any explanation, and the carpet throughout the hotel needs replacing. Water was leaking from above into the elevator, which seemed seriously unsafe. They’ve spent more money on a gambling game room than on guest rooms. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL.

We stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great, so we came back expecting the same. What a mistake. The woman at the front desk was nice, but the $100 deposit caught me off guard. Our first room had a partly open window with a destroyed screen. The door wouldn’t shut properly, and when it did, it slammed. Looking closer, it seemed to have been pried open before. I told the front desk woman, and she gladly gave us another room. The second room was a mess too. The chair in the corner needed bleach wipes, the bathtub was FILTHY and wouldn’t drain, and a filthy, rock-hard washcloth was hanging from the shower curtain. It was late and we needed sleep, so I was worried about what we might find in the bed. In the morning, I noticed something odd on the ceiling that looked like a camera bracket of some sort. There were also tacks all over the wall, like a crime scene map had been put up. This place has goblins, it’s disgusting! Please don’t stay here. I want to ask for my money back, but I’d rather they make a big donation to an animal shelter for homeless pets. Why hasn’t the health department been here? This place needs to be shut down or torn down!

I was desperate, and knew it wasn’t the marriott, but didn’t realize it would be this bad. The rooms weren’t cleaned between guests, and there were bedbugs everywhere, with stains on the pillows and sheets. It was sick. Places like this are why people don’t like the choice hotel brand. They should be shut down.

The place is run down and needs some help. The rooms are outdated, the water was only lukewarm even on the hot setting, and the pool is out of service for who knows how long. There’s no hot tub and no breakfast either.
