The room was nice, the beds were reasonably soft, and the staff were nice. The pool and hot tub were also nice, but small. Renovations are still going on, although they supposedly started in the second week of January and were meant to take about two weeks. Odd that they're still underway.

We loved staying here in December 2025. The lobby decor was beautiful, and our room was clean with comfortable beds. The day and night front desk staff were both very kind. It's beside a shopping center with a supermarket, and not far from the city center and restaurants.

The rooms were good for a fair price, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The lobby was being remodeled during my visit, but over two weeks I didn't see much happening. I'm sure it will look nice when it's finished.

The location was great, and the service courteous and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of bathroom amenities. Breakfast was five-star for the chef's fresh preparation and variety, and waitress Yatzi, if I'm spelling that right, gave excellent service. She was working alone on a Saturday and did an amazing job. Her smile and positive attitude brightened the dining room for everyone.

The staff made the stay. They were warm, welcoming, and authentic from the moment our group arrived for the USMC 250th Birthday through our departure. Their service felt five-star, and when we asked what to do or where to eat locally, their advice was spot on. The town is full of historians, and this hotel has its own unique connection to that. Everyone was accommodating, and they invited us to enjoy the charming lobby, with its fireplace and community table, a warm, relaxing place to spend time. Thanks to the whole staff for the hospitality and hometown honesty. We'll return!
