Hampton Inn Castle Rock

The room and stay were okay, but the booking and billing mess was unacceptable. I had an Expedia reservation for November 7th - 8th. My flight was delayed, so I called the front desk on the 7th to say we'd miss the first night but arrive the next day. The attendant didn't properly note the late arrival, and our original Expedia booking was marked as a no-show. As a result, Expedia or the hotel charged me for the full first night as a no-show fee, and I had to pay for an entirely new reservation at the desk just to check in. I proactively called about the delay, so being charged like that was ridiculous customer service. I shouldn't have to pay for an internal communication failure. The whole thing was an avoidable headache.

The location is great, and they serve a hot breakfast. The gym has a bike, stair stepper, treadmill, dumbbells, and medicine balls. There's also a pool ranging from 3ft to 5 ft and a whirlpool, and both have handicapped lifts.

The staff were very courteous, and the hotel and rooms were clean. It's right off the highway and in a great location. I'll book here again.

The front desk team was excellent, and breakfast was good with great coffee. The hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are nice and the place is clean.
