Castle Inn

I left feeling rested, and I'd happily come back. The place was quiet at night, the room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. After a tough week and a long drive, I needed somewhere peaceful, and this exceeded what I expected. The staff were friendly and made check-in simple. It also felt well cared for and affordable without seeming cheap. I'd recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, reliable stay.

We felt very safe here, and the owner family were kind and accommodating. The two-bed room had more space than most motel rooms I've stayed in, with plenty of counter space. It was quiet even with long-term tenants nearby, and we could barely hear anyone next door during sleeping hours. The location worked well for being a short drive from Albany without staying in the city. There's just one place to eat within walking distance, though we found several good options within a 10-minute drive. The room was very clean, including the microwave and fridge, and the small freezer section kept our ice packs cold. Water pressure was great, the heater worked well, and the WiFi and cable were fine, with more channels than I expected. I liked the newer top blankets, and the firm bed wasn't hard. I slept surprisingly well. The only real gripe was having just two pillows per bed, and they went flat. There were a few cosmetic blemishes, but nothing major, and at this price I wasn't going to complain. For what we paid for three nights, we were extremely happy and would stay again.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the room had everything I needed. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with great value for the price. Highly recommend.

Parking was easy, the service was friendly, and I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. I'll definitely stay again.
