We made good use of the small grocery store next door and River Mile 38 Brewing Company during our few nights here. My wife and I really enjoyed the stay, especially relaxing in the lovely lobby and downstairs entrance. There's also a spacious kitchen and dining area. Our room's TV and refrigerator both worked fine. The town and hotel are worth a detour if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Opened in 1926, this vintage hotel sits downtown in Cathlamet, WA, close to local shops and art galleries. The rooms are comfortable, and continental breakfast is served daily. The Columbia River is nearby for marine recreation, while the surrounding rural farms, ranches, and dairies sell produce, beef, and dairy products in casual settings.

The location is perfect, and I really love this place. It has a Mcminemans feel, and the service is so kind and accommodating. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The window sills and the space behind the beds could use dusting, but I'd definitely stay again.

The kitchen and library/game room are great, and they've really thought about the details. I especially appreciated having places for all my things in the bathroom. The rooms are small, as other reviews say, but they worked fine for us and we had a great stay. Everything was very clean, and the owners have done a lovely job preserving the hotel's old look and charm. The bed and shower are what I judge a hotel room by, and both were a solid A++. Looking forward to another stay in Cathlamet.

We'd never been to the area and were motorcycle touring, so we booked one night online ahead of time without knowing what to expect. The clean, comfortable facilities turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The complimentary continental breakfast area is very nice, too. Hats off to the owners for saving and bringing this old hotel back to life. We'd stay again, and there are great motorcycle roads nearby.
