Travelodge by Wyndham Casper

Gwen was managing during our stay and was fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The lobby and office were clean and nice, with lots of beautiful house plants. The motel looks a little run down outside, and the rooms are dated, but they're actually quite nice and very clean.

I've been here since 2018-12-25. The owner is easy to talk and home with, and you can tell he truly cares. He's actively updating the rooms and amenities. The atmosphere is pleasant, the room is spacious and clean, and the staff are very friendly. When I needed an extra dresser, they were accommodating.

The front desk person was very nice, which is the only reason I didn't give one star. Crumbs were at the foot of the bed when I pulled back the blankets, and the floors left my toddler's feet brown after only 10 minutes of running around. There were sticky spots on the floor, too. Our room keys wouldn't work even after we went and got new ones. I definitely won't come back.

Mike, the Manager, let me check in with a room card even though there was a problem with my credit card. It was late, zero degrees outside, and I’d had a long day, so he told me to get some rest and sort it out in the morning. He even handed me a little breakfast bag with food and water. That was really kind. The building dates back to the 40's, but my room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well. It’s a good choice for a comfortable night, a fair price, and helpful service. For Starbucks coffee, Albertsons is a 15 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood. It was 2 below zero when I went, but the walk was still nice.
