We had a lovely family trip with no interruptions, and I definitely want to return because there's still more for me to see and experience. The cabins are nice and in a great spot, with lots to do, though we didn't have enough time for it all. Ours was mostly clean, but there were pizza bits and crumbs on the pullout sofa, so we couldn't use it. Extra sheets were there, but I wasn't going to clean up the mess. The carpets looked clean, though they could use a proper wet cleaning. Be ready to wash your own sheets and towels, and use the bear-safe trash setup. There's a pool table and hot tub. The kitchen has basic supplies, plus a blender and hand mixer. Once the small starter amounts of laundry detergent, dishwasher soap (two), and toilet paper are gone, you'll need to bring your own.

Getting to Gatlinburg took about 15 minutes, and we'd happily come here again. The cabin was lovely, with great views, and there was enough room for our family of four adults and two kids, including an eight-year-old. It was an awesome vacation.
