Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baltimore West - Catonsville by IHG

The staff here are amazing. We stayed two years ago in a lovely suite, but it wasn’t available this time, and the room we first checked into wasn’t quite what we expected. The young woman at the desk was incredibly kind and helped us find a better fit. She even set up cards for other rooms so I could look before choosing. They’re renovating, and we had a few minor issues with the air conditioning. The staff member overseeing the property came up several times, patiently worked through it, and got us comfortable. We hadn’t realized the temperature was controlled by thermostats on the wall. I’ve never come across staff who were so helpful, accommodating, and patient. Thank you!

Breakfast was great, with delicious coffee, and the bed made for a really good night’s sleep. The room was roomy and well kept, and I was glad to find full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus several lotions, makeup remover, and a bar of soap. Much more than the tiny bottles you usually get. Check-in was fast and easy, and the woman at reception was friendly. Even the lobby smelled nice. The TV felt a little outdated and had no guide menu, but that was a small inconvenience. I’d stay here again.

Breakfast was genuinely good, with plenty to choose from and a nice start to the day. The room was clean and relaxing, and the staff gave us great service. We had a comfortable stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites and would absolutely return.

My family and I needed somewhere for one night, and we found this hotel on Google. We picked the highest floor, which had a good view, and left the next day well rested. Breakfast was included, along with other things we needed, like the pool and fitness center. I love this hotel.
