Baymont by Wyndham Cave City

The breakfast spread and dining area were a pleasant surprise for a motel: sausage, eggs, biscuits, waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, fruit, donuts, cereal, juice, and coffee with decaf and brew-strength options. They even had organic green tea. The room had recent updates, was well furnished and clean, and the beds were especially comfortable. Showers got hot almost immediately and had incredible pressure. I was there with three little kids, and they liked the room too. The staff were helpful and friendly. It’s right off the highway in a loop with other hotels, restaurants, and gas stations, a great location for Mammoth caves. A terrific stay for the price, and I’d highly recommend it for a visit to the area.

We missed breakfast because we couldn’t find the hours posted, though it wasn’t a big deal. Check-in was straightforward even with their system down. The room was quiet, clean, and a great price, with hot water. I also appreciated the liquid hand soap by the sink. I usually bring my own because I prefer it to a bar, so that was a nice surprise.

After a long day, it was a good place to stop. The room was warm and comfortable, and the woman working the desk when we arrived at 10:30 pm was friendly and accommodating. A travel companion left their AirPods behind. When they called, the man said he’d searched the room and couldn’t find them, but when we came back, they were right on the bed. It didn’t seem like he had looked. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay. We were there from the 29th to the 30th.

I’ve stayed three times and would come back again. The price is hard to beat, and I slept well on the nice bed. The room was clean, the staff welcoming, and the breakfast counter spotless with plenty to eat and drink. A little gem among the hotels in Cave City.
