The bathroom was what stood out most to me, everything was really clean. We needed adjoining rooms for my brother and me, at a reasonable price, and these fit the bill without being fancy. They were quiet even though the road nearby was busy. There was a mini fridge, microwave, iron and board, and a TV with a ton of channels. We’d stay again.

I was taken to the emergency room yesterday and kept under observation for more than nine hours. When I came back, I couldn’t get into my room. The owners wouldn’t answer the bell or phone, and I ended up sitting outside in the cold for three hours before returning to the ER at 2 a.m. I couldn’t get my clothes, purse, or phone from the room I’d been staying in. It’s now been over 16 hours, and I’m afraid I won’t get my things back. The owner says I have to pay the full amount for the day I was locked out before they’ll return my property. Is that legal? What should I do?

Good value for an overnight stop in the middle of a drive. The building is older, which seems to be why the price is low, but the place felt safe, the door locked properly, and the room was spacious. Staff were excellent, and everything was clean. It had a decent-sized fridge, microwave, TV, and a shower with great pressure.

The staff were rude and nasty, and the beds were hard to sleep on. My room smelled moldy. I also got shocked twice, once by the microwave and once by the TV. Not a nice motel to stay at.

I needed a decent night’s rest while helping with Hurricane Harvey rescue work. The Cowboy Church offered free shelter, meals, and showers, but I decided to stay here. The couple at the desk were super friendly, and the rates were very reasonable. It’s nothing special to look at, but the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hot shower was amazing too.
