Villas of Cave Creek

My wife and I have spent a week here quite a few years in a row, as a timeshare bonus week, and the service has always been good. Reception and housekeeping staff are friendly and personable, and housekeeping responds quickly. The two-bedroom, two-bath unit is good value. Rooms are spacious but a bit spartan, with some updates such as new window blinds and work in the main bathroom.

The Villas were great, in a cute area within walking distance of Cave Creek restaurants and shops. There's a beautiful but difficult hike on the mountain right behind the property, and the private hot tubs were a big bonus. It rained on a few days, so we spent quite a bit of time playing pool and ping pong in the rec area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend staying here, especially for a larger group.

The place is close enough to walk to restaurants and cafes, and the grounds are a real highlight with two swimming pools. It worked really well for our family. There are actually two bathrooms, something I didn’t see mentioned in the reviews: one off the master bedroom and another upstairs. The upstairs sitting room has a pullout couch that could work as a third bedroom. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and appliances, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an ice maker in the freezer. There’s also a private hot tub tucked away by the master bedroom. It felt secluded, and I’d say it’s big enough for four people.

We had a great first stay at this hotel. It was roomy, clean, and kid friendly, with lots to do nearby. The kids especially enjoyed having our own hot tub. We’ll definitely book with them again for our next family vacation 😊
