Cayucos Sunset Inn B&B

The breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and made when we arrived, a great way to start our days out exploring. They even delivered cookies and milk to the room at night, a nice touch. Matthew and the staff were polite, helpful, and personable, and check-in and checkout were quick and accurate. They made the stay excellent, and we really appreciated their attention to detail. We had a relaxing three-day family trip to Cayucous at the Sunset Inn Bed & Breakfast. Our rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and inviting. The jetted tub felt great after walking around, shopping, exploring, and dining, and the fireplaces helped us warm up after the cold wind. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. It’s definitely a higher caliber place than most hotels and motels around there. We’ll be back soon. If you’re visiting Cayucous, I highly recommend booking a room or two. You won’t be disappointed.

I wanted a restful break and some time to recharge, and this was just right. The room was spotless and arranged with real care. Thank you, Paulette. One small thought: a Venmo QR code near the breakfast tip jar and by the envelope in the room could be handy, since people rarely carry cash now. Thanks again, I hope to return!

Jenny described what she thought was their best room so well that we decided to upgrade, and we were glad we did. It surpassed what we expected, with an incredible view, a comfortable bed, fireplaces for atmosphere, and a phenomenal spa tub. The modern details were exceptional, too. Gretchen and the kitchen staff served such a good breakfast that we didn’t need to go out for one. Everyone was helpful with local sightseeing ideas and hiking spots, and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Lovely room and views, welcoming staff. We’ll be back.
