The Pacific Motel

Our wedding weekend in August was such a fun time. We had around 10 other rooms booked for family and guests, and everyone loved the upgraded motel. The rooms and bungalos were clean, updated, and really cute. There were cute gifts in the lobby, and the fire pits out front and ping pong tables made great places to hang out. The woman at the front desk was amazing. She helped put gifts in the rooms and served us drinks at the Salty Tiger. It’s a quaint, fun place within walking distance of everything downtown Cayucos. I can’t wait to visit again. I HIGHLY recommend Pacific Motel. Thank you!

Cayucos is an easy town to walk around, with good seafood and other restaurants. There’s ocean access and a viewing area just across the street, about a three-minute walk, and the sunset was amazing. Pacific Hotel made a great stop for anyone touring the CA Central Coast along Pacific Hwy.1. It’s an eclectic boutique property with a real vintage CA. 1950s feel and great value. Ryan (the Owner) and the Staff clearly care about customer service. The rooms felt like new and were immaculate and sanitary. The bed was as comfortable as any I’ve slept in during 40+ years of domestic and international travel.

The Pacific is a real gem, with a simple, beautiful setting and coffee and food within walking distance. Everything feels new, and each unit has nice personal touches. I’d recommend it for a weekend getaway or a stop while driving along pch.

We stayed in a bungalow last night, and everything about the experience was impeccable, from the drive in and gorgeous exterior to the relaxing room and the bed, which was neither too soft nor too hard. The kitschy bar, restored old dairy van used to serve guests, and friendly service from the staff and owner all added to it. The Pacific is one of those places that’ll stay with me forever. This 1940’s motel was refurbished with perfection in mind, and they really nailed it. Our bungalow had a book documenting old restored motels and motor inns, and The Pacific was described perfectly in it. Cayucos is a quiet, amazing little beach town. The next morning we spent time on the beach by the pier looking for seashells and watching surfers. It was a nice, relaxing morning. We’ll be back, and we know where we’re staying.
