Midway Inn

Kimberly, who works at the front desk and lives on site, refused to let me speak with manager Kimberly or property manager Chris. When I asked for Chris's supervisor, they said they couldn't give out that information. The maintenance man Joey had told me Chris was the person I needed to speak with, and I explained that Kimberly wouldn't let me. Then she said maybe she could help. They had agreed to work with me so I could make two payments each month toward the full monthly payment, but at the last minute said this was only a one-time arrangement. They still won't tell me who is above them.

This place is horrible. There are cracks in the drywall and mold on the lobby wallpaper, around the baseboards and underneath it. The front desk looks like a jail cell. The hotel has a bad history with bedbugs, and room 134 was shut down for that while I was there. Something was wrong with the foundation area, because the lobby and most of the ground floor rooms flooded. They didn't replace the wet things. They shop-vacced the water and left the carpet and padding to dry while still wet. The place smelled nasty, the lighting was like an old dingy bar, and the rooms were dark, with old features and dry-rotted furniture. The blanket was a weird red color, stained white and torn, at least in my room. The manager and his best friend ran the place like slum lords. They lived together in the hotel, and both claimed to be in charge. They were kids in their early 20s. My room had a badly cracked ceiling that I was afraid might fall in. There were no ice buckets, no tissues, and the front desk woman charged for extra toilet paper. They wouldn't give extra towels or hygiene items unless it was "your day for service." The free Wi-Fi was terrible and barely held a signal. Don't stay here.

Horrible place to stay, with horrible, disrespectful staff. They harassed my mom and kicked her out for getting help from the cops over a situation, and now she's homeless. They don't want you calling the cops or an ambulance there. If you do, you'll be kicked out. Uncalled for. I'm going to report them to the BBB. It's a nasty place that badly needs updates. It doesn't deserve any stars.

I lived there for two years, and the place was dilapidated and needs to be condemned. After the new owners took over, they never secured the building, and it turned into a shipping yard of debris. Looking at Malenoma, Asbestos, Radon, Cancerous invisible Airborne pathogenical gases! It was very sick and not up to Building and Housing Codes Authority. Ground Keeper Danny said it would all be brand new fixtures, furniture, electronics, and sheet rock, yes, renovated Emackulently! FACT AGENT: VOGT, VERY DISAPPOINTED.
