Staybridge Suites Cedar Park - Austin N

The manager, Rebecca, was terrific and eager to help however she could, and the other front desk staff were wonderful too. Their big smiles made me feel welcome. I needed a hotel for a few days while my r.v. was being repaired, and I felt lucky to find this place. The room was spacious and accommodating, with a full-size refrigerator, and it was very clean. I’d recommend staying here if you want a nice hotel with good hospitality and prices.

The bathroom wasn’t clean when we were getting ready to leave the next morning. There was hair in the shower and mold around the sink’s overflow drain. We showed the photos and raised it with the manager, but he ignored our concern and said, “ya you have to clean them occasionally.” That should be done every day. He came across like he didn’t care, and I don’t think he represents the IHG family well. I’ll send my concerns and photos to corporate. We won’t stay at this hotel or another Staybridge again. It felt like a place for long-term rental residents who didn’t care about other guests. The rest of the stay was bad too. Check-in was confusing because staff gave conflicting answers about paying cash over the phone. They were friendly, but didn’t seem to agree on the process, and we never felt welcome. The reception area felt low-budget, with food containers left empty for quite a while and nobody looking after them. When food finally appeared, a guest who said she was a resident took eight plates and six coffees back to her room, leaving none for other guests. The beer was warm and flat, and we couldn’t find the wine until a woman arrived with it at 6:30. We saw guests come by, find the containers empty, and leave. If there’s a reception, it needs responsible staff to run it and keep residents from hoarding the food. The hotel looked nice at first, but that was misleading.

They know my dogs by name, and they’re so welcoming to them. The rooms are lovely, with good beds, full-size fridges, and nice bathrooms. Breakfast tastes great, the WiFi works well, and you can text the front desk for updates. I feel safe inside and outside, and the location makes it an easy drive to just about anywhere around Austin. They’re good with kids and babies, too. Years ago, they helped me out when a VRBO reservation fell through. Since then, Staybridge Cedar Park has been over-the-top wonderful, and I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

The front desk staff always said good morning and greeted us when we came back. Laundry worked well enough, and Wednesday’s breakfast had the best biscuits and gravy. The bathroom and living area were nice, though I wish I’d had a one-bedroom. They made us feel welcome. If we’re in Austin again, we’ll definitely stay here. Thanks again.
