I didn’t stay here, just rented a boat. The owner was nice and accommodating, and luckily had a newer fishing boat with nice seats available, so we switched to that. The pontoons I saw were mostly old and dirty, with torn seats. I’d booked the Misty Harbor Force, but it had wooden benches instead of the cushioned kind you’d expect, and the driver’s seat was filthy and ripped. The boats weren’t what I expected. Unless you don’t care which one you get, ask for a picture before renting.

The cabin was cute, but the birds sometimes got so loud they woke me in the middle of the night. The tap water wasn’t clear, and the smell from the bedsheets was awful and overwhelming for me. It made me so nauseous I had to sleep on the couch. I also found a couple of bugs in bed. The fridge leaked, the wifi was terrible, and there was dust on every windowsill. Overall, it wasn’t too bad, but it could be better.

We had a great vacation in the cool, rustic two-bedroom cabins just off the water. The resort is family friendly and also works for a romantic getaway. The owner and staff were extremely friendly, and the boat rental was first class. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

We love simple, old-school mom-and-pop resorts, and these cute vintage cabins really suited us. The location is fantastic, and the place has plenty of charm, though some areas could use TLC. It’s clearly old, and I can imagine the harsh elements and winter take a toll. The owners seem to be working hard on repairs, and I’m rooting for them to breathe some fresh air into this delightful, slightly shabby gem.

My sister and I needed a place during the off-season while our kids had a game nearby, and this worked perfectly for our family of seven. There was lots of space, it was clean, and they were very accommodating when we needed to check in early. It’s a great family-friendly mom-and-pop place, and I’ll make sure I come back.
