Best Western Celina

The freeway was louder than I’d like, so next time I’d try for a room on the other side. The HVAC unit was a bit noisy too. Still, I had a good night, and the service was friendly. The breakfast area was surprisingly clean and well laid out, with good food.

The rooms are VERY loud. You can hear everything at all hours, day and night, so bring white noise or some kind of sound machine. Without one, it’s hard to manage. Other than that, it was a good experience: clean and safe, and the front desk was helpful.

The staff member was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and updated. I’d give her five stars on her own if I’d managed to get some sleep. The walls and floors are paper thin: we heard what sounded like elephants tap dancing upstairs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., then again from 6 a.m. until we left. Doors on both floors slammed all night, and we could hear every one.

The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the hotel looked and smelled fresh. Breakfast was the usual free hotel spread, and the coffee was good. It was a really good stay, and I’d definitely come back.
