Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver South/Centennial Airport

We arrived around 8 pm for a three-night stay. While my husband checked us in, I got tea, but the water was lukewarm. I figured I could heat it in the room, then found the microwave in room428 was dirty, with an old paper towel and coffee stains. That might have been an easy miss, but then there was hair in the bathroom sink. I asked my husband to check the bed, and it was clean, so we stayed. The next morning I found hair in the shower too, which really grossed me out. When we returned, the room hadn't been cleaned, so I cleaned it myself. There was a note saying housekeeping was off for the holiday, and we had no one to ask for help the next day. I wanted to contact the GM but couldn't find a contact. I used to be an executive director of a lodging association, so I know this work is hard, but that doesn't make the cleanliness issue okay. I was very disappointed.

The room has a comfortable, convenient setup that feels more like home than a typical hotel. I've been to Home2 Suites a few times for business, and each visit has gone well. The staff have always been welcoming and polite. I'd recommend it.

The outdoor fire was a nice touch, and the location was perfect. Breakfast was unbelievably good. I couldn't be happier with this hotel.

I haven't managed to try breakfast because of my work hours, but I'd still recommend this hotel to my coworkers. The rooms are generally good and comfortable, though a few could use some TLC. The staff really stood out. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, courteous, and understanding.
