We booked for convenience the night before a volleyball tournament, and I regretted it as soon as I walked in. The sides of the beds were absolutely disgusting. Employees were shouting at each other in a room near the lobby, which made us feel unsafe. I would’ve left the room, too, if my car hadn’t been dead. When I tried to contact someone the next day, they said they couldn’t help because I’d booked through a third party. 0/10, wouldn’t recommend.

The breakfast was a step up from a basic continental one, but the food quality still wasn’t great. There was coffee on the first day; after the pot broke, nobody seemed to make up for it. Service felt understaffed, and each time I needed the front desk I waited 5 to 10 minutes for someone to show up. The room was decent for the price, though worn in spots, with wall marks and poorly done repairs. Remodeling was going on during my stay.

The bed was comfortable, which was the best part. Some of the extra comfort items didn’t work, and no one responded to the customer service text the front desk prompted me to send. I called the desk afterward and got no answer there either. It was somewhere to sleep, and that was about it.

We had a really nice stay with my niece. The room was spacious and clean, and although the hotel was under construction, it didn’t affect us. The hot tub was warm and the bed was comfortable. At less than $100, it was hard to beat.

We picked this hotel for the pool, but it was so cold I couldn’t get in. Staff insisted it was 78 degrees. The kids lasted only 15 minutes before they were freezing, which was a letdown. In the morning there were moldy oranges, and no waffles because they’d run out of mix. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.
