Comfort Suites Central Valley - Woodbury

The hotel even offered us a different room, but only very late at night when we'd already settled in. We were there for our daughter's wedding, had booked a block of rooms, and had spent nearly a year coordinating with the hotel. The experience was mostly positive, but the curtains in our first-floor room facing the parking lot wouldn't close, so we had no privacy. Staff agreed the room shouldn't have been rented like that, but said nothing else was available and they couldn't help. Afterward I left management several messages and never got a call back or apology. A little follow-up would have meant a lot.

Woodbury Commons is only minutes away, and there are handy stops like TJ Maxx and Walmart nearby, so this is where I'll stay when I come for shopping. For about $139, I got an accessible king suite with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and pull-out sofa. The clean, well-kept room also had a desk that worked well for relaxing or getting some work done, and cable TV. It was an easy, comfortable stay. The bathroom lights were quite bright, though that's just my preference.

After a long drive, I got a really good night's sleep here. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is new, and it's close to the outlets. The staff were great too. I left my belongings in the el by accident, and they helped me track them down. I'd definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was pretty much what you'd expect at a hotel like this, including a hot waffle maker and the usual choices. The room itself was awesome, clean, and had a great shower. The AC heated it far too much, so I turned it off, then woke in the middle of the night to turn it on again. You're close enough to the highway to hear traffic, though I was tired and fell asleep quickly. The was closed, and they said it would open in March.
