My room at the Varsity West Hotel in Centralia, Washington was extremely clean and well appointed. I had a wonderful stay, and the staff were very friendly.

At first I thought this was a great deal, but I changed my review after seeing an extra charge on my credit card after checkout. The amount you pay when checking in apparently isn’t the full cost, and I find the later charge ridiculous. The place reminded me of an old Motel 6. It was affordable and clean, had a kitchen, and was next to the outlets. There was some road noise, the shower was a little funky, and staff were only there from 2-11pm. Then there were those mystery charges after the stay.
