Wild Wisteria

We hosted our wedding event at Wild Wisteria B&B in Oct 2020, and Brad and his family went above and beyond for our guests and overnight lodgers. Planning anything in 2020 was difficult, but they were kind, accommodating, and seemed to anticipate every need. We still find it hard to sum up how welcome and special they made us feel on one of our happiest occasions. We used a 3-day package, which gave us lodging for ourselves and many of the bridal party. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and each had its own playful character. There was room to stage decor and rental equipment, get ready privately for hair and makeup, make our DIY floral arrangements, and set up food. Breakfast each morning was superb. We safely held our outdoor ceremony and reception on the lovely, well-kept grounds. There was plenty of room for guests to park and for our food truck catering, plus endless photo settings indoors and out. Brad responded to our questions from day 1 and arranged a safe tour beforehand. He and his wife know the property and its history, and have been updating it carefully while preserving the historic character of the buildings and grounds. Cindy and her family welcomed us when my wife and I stayed in May, and they made it feel like a home away from home. They were very accommodating, and we had an excellent time. The house is beautiful, full of old-style character, and should look amazing when the renovations are done. We look forward to coming back to see how the BnB takes shape under new ownership.

Our three girls, ages 10 to 16, loved their stay and enjoyed the acreage as a peaceful break from traffic and everyday life. Restaurants, museums, and stores are close by too. My wife and I found the beds lovely, and breakfast was delicious, just as advertised. Brad and Cindy were amazing hosts. The rooms were clean and inviting, with a mix of newer touches and old-world charm. Wild Wisteria is a gem.

Someone apparently posted a one-star review under my name, but it wasn't mine. Brad and Cindy are caring, dear people, and the owners are magnificent and friendly. They welcomed us warmly and made our stay very enjoyable. The property is beautiful, and they've been doing wonderful things with this antique home since acquiring it 2 years ago. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a place in the area. We'll stay here again.
