Days Inn by Wyndham Independence

The bed was comfortable and clean, the room smelled fine, and the floors were clean. The staff were nice and professional. But there was no soap for the shower or sink, just shampoo, and the fridge and microwave were sticky and dirty. I’d skip this place.

The rooms and people are decent, and it’s been quiet overall. There are definitely worse places. Still, there are the usual drug users and people arguing around, so keep to yourself and stay alert. I’d stay strapped, but you should be that way anytime, anywhere anyway, especially here.

I had a nice room and a great first night, but they kicked me out right away because I had my animal with me. I understand there’s a no-pet policy, but the policy also says service animals are welcome, and mine is a service animal. They didn’t even stop to ask if she was one. That shows they don’t care. They need major staff improvements.

I only checked in a few hours ago and I’m already thinking about asking for a full refund. The room was humid, smelled like a used urinal, and had bugs flying around. The sheets are disgusting, and my shoes stick to the floor. It’s clear the room wasn’t cleaned. I took photos and video to help keep others away. This place isn’t worth it, and I feel like I’ll end up with some kind of infection if I sleep here.
