Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Independence VA

The staff, from top to bottom, were the best we’ve ever had. They all went above and beyond what we expected. It’s an older hotel, but if you want a clean, quiet, friendly place to get a good night’s rest, this is the one in the area. Highly recommend it if you’re in Independence VA.

We had a gorgeous view from the parking lot. You could bring a picnic and sit on the back of your pickup for dinner, and the Dollar General, ABC store, and Food City grocery store are all close by for snacks. We’ll definitely come back. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The whole hotel smelled clean, and the rooms were super neat. The beds were firm, and they gave us plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean and had a heater and fan. I fell in love with the heater in the shower/toilet room. We asked for a place to eat, and the super sweet, helpful woman at the front desk suggested Mi Casa Azteca Mexican Restaurant. We probably wouldn’t have tried it otherwise, and it was super yummy!

We’ll stay here again for the next Oak Hill Academy reunion. This was our second time at America's Best in Independence, and we weren’t disappointed. It seems to have been renovated in the last few years, and under the new owners it’s really nice. The room was clean and the coffee was great. It’s not a Hyatt or the Ritz, but Independence is a friendly small town, not exactly a big city. That made the stay refreshing.

We were so comfortable we hated to leave. The staff were amazing, and the hotel was very clean and quiet, with lots of places to eat nearby. We’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one is the best. Would highly recommend!
