Atlanta Marriott Northeast/Emory Area

Luis at the M Club was a standout, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Mr. Anthony, the food and beverage manager, also checked in with everyone to make sure the evening was going well. The building and rooms are kept up nicely, and the bed was among the most comfortable I’ve had at a Marriott. The location is very convenient for my work. I just hope they add EV charging soon.

The 5 a.m. music is what made this stay unbearable. Both mornings we woke to loud dance pop that sounded like it was coming from a speaker by our window. We first thought a guest downstairs was blasting a radio, but staff said it was lobby music. My wife politely asked the receptionist to turn it down, and was told it couldn't be done because it was on a timer and corporate policy. It stopped around 6. The next morning it happened again. I called, and after half an hour it finally went quiet. They said they'd send security to check for noise, but I don't know if security had anything to do with it. We were there two nights and I slept about six hours total. The walls are thin enough that we heard people talking in nearby rooms, and car alarms kept going off for long stretches both nights. The beds were uncomfortable, the shower was dirty, and customer service was slow and careless. The lighting and view were bad, the clock was annoying, some lamp parts were broken, and odd little bed lights sometimes switched on by themselves. There were also cheap lights in strange places. The whole experience was a joke.

The M Club Lounge is a real highlight, with good food and drink options. I also appreciated Sonia’s warm welcome and the personal attention she gave my stay. She went out of her way to help make our meeting a success. As a Titanium Elite Marriott Bonvoy member, I was glad to receive an executive suite upgrade, which made things more comfortable. This is my favorite place to stay in Atlanta, and the service has been consistently excellent whenever I visit.

The room was clean, and I had no complaints about the property. Angle at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and took care of the accommodations and extra things we needed. The hospitality was excellent, and I’d book this Atlanta Marriott Northeast location again.
