DO NOT STAY HERE. The room had visible cockroaches, a strong smoke smell, and didn't look clean. There was hair in the tub and the surfaces looked like they hadn't been wiped. When I raised the issue, the front desk secretary, Linda, said, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” The couch didn't even match.

The room was clean, but this old hotel needs some work. When I came in at night, the switch by the door didn't work, so I had to feel my way around to find a light. The bathroom mirror fixture had one bulb and two empty sockets. My main issue was the price, at least 30% more than I expected. I could've paid less for a much nicer hotel, but didn't want to drive across town. Chandler Inn was close when I needed a room for the night. 2.5 out of 5.

It's a roof over your head if you need one, but I personally wouldn't stay there unless I had to. I was kind of afraid to put my bag down after seeing a couple of baby cockroaches. Some of them looked like bed bugs to me.

The rooms are small, but cozy, and have what you need: a mini stove, fridge, and microwave. I've had a couple of room issues, and Miss Linda took care of them quickly. She works hard to make people feel safe and happy and doesn't tolerate shady behavior. The two men at the front desk are friendly, personable, and accommodating. We've stayed here for months and plan to keep doing so. I'd recommend it to anyone. Motel 6 has nothing on this gem. The only downsides are no ice maker or pool, but Circle K and Food City are nearby if you want to buy ice and keep it in your freezer.
