The pool, patios, and shared spaces were all fresh and pretty, and our room was spotless, crisp, and quiet. After switching hotels every few days during the week before, this was the best room I found in Phoenix. The restaurant and bar had good food and kind, friendly staff, and there was a cheerful buzz among guests at breakfast and dinner. At night it felt like a real restaurant, not a sad hotel bar. I was here for a week under difficult circumstances, and the kindness of the staff helped brighten some otherwise dim days. Everyone at the front desk was wonderful, especially Rita.

The hotel was so quiet I decided to add another night, and I’m booking again for Christmas. Marissa helped me extend the stay when I went down to the market, and Ria, if I’ve got the spelling right, was nice and helpful too. Marissa had also been really nice when she checked me in. The location’s handy, just off I-10 and close to the 202, with restaurants and stores nearby. I had a freeway-side room and couldn’t hear the traffic at all.

It’s a short drive to the airport, and there are several places to eat and shop nearby. I stayed one night before flying home. Check-in was quick and easy, and they had cookies. The room was spacious, clean, and, unlike the place I’d stayed the previous few nights, quiet.

That warm cookie at check-in is still one of my favorite parts, and it’s one reason I keep coming back to the DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix Chandler. As a frequent traveler and Hilton Gold member, I appreciate how consistent the quality is here. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and spotless, and the staff are welcoming and attentive from arrival through checkout. Another fantastic stay. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The breakfast was the one letdown. It cost $50, and seemed heated up instead of cooked, and there wasn’t a free breakfast option. Otherwise, this is a good place to stay for the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I’d definitely come back.
