The Sydney, The Edgartown Collection

Arghhhhh, the breakfast was a big reason we came back to the Sidney instead of trying somewhere new. It changed daily, with several protein choices alongside a lovely spread of scones, fruit, puddings, pastries, yogurt, and more. That part has changed, so we’ll try another place next year. The Sidney still has a great location, friendly staff who are always happy to help, and clean, well-appointed rooms.

My favorite thing was the coffee bar, with coffee, tea, filtered water, and sparkling water. Breakfast was a step up from the usual continental kind, with tasty homemade items. The hotel is quiet, quaint, and clean, and the neighborhood is easy to get around on foot. The lavish, comfy decor made me feel like a princess, and I really liked having such nice hair and skin products. Best place ever for a friends', solo, or couples' getaway!

The sunny courtyard, morning coffee and pastry bar, and friendly, helpful staff made us feel thoroughly pampered. Everything had a beautiful, spa-like feel, and the location is right among the shops and restaurants, so getting around on foot was easy. Staying here was a dream come true. We’ll definitely pick The Sydney again next summer.⭐

I was a little nervous about this first trip away from my 4mo old baby girl since I’m breastfeeding, and pumping and dumping milk I couldn’t bring home is hard. I’d called ahead to ask for a mini fridge, and the staff were SO accommodating: they brought one to our room, helped keep the milk in their fridge longer term, and put ice packs in their freezer. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the location on the island was great. My husband and I had a great stay, and we’d recommend this place to anyone visiting.
