The bed didn’t feel like a proper bed. The new mattresses have no box spring and are only about six inches high, so sitting on one lets you feel the wooden frame underneath. The toilet is so low that standing up would call for a grab bar, but there wasn’t one. The AC was loud enough to keep us up, and its front filters looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Front desk service was disappointing as well. A staff member ignored me every time I walked by until our last day, when he thought we were checking out with our luggage. A glance, hello, or offer of help would have been a simple, free way to show some service. I tried several times to call customer service from the room and got no answer. We won’t stay at this location again. For what you pay, I expected better service and a bed that actually felt like a bed.

I’d give this Hampton Inn Phx/Chandler 4.8 stars. The pool was spotless and mostly empty, and our room was immaculate. Parking was easy, breakfast was pretty good, and the employees were very gracious. A truly great stay.

The staff were courteous and responsive, but the suite smelled musty, the towels were plentiful but coarse, and the mattress springs were shot. That mattress needs replacing. Breakfast was the usual standard fare. I’m a Hilton Honors member and Hampton Inn is normally my go-to, so this was disappointing. I wanted to share feedback at checkout but couldn’t find any staff there. I’d pass on this one. A regional Hampton Inn manager should visit.

I arrived on 1.19.2026 thinking I’d booked a different, top-of-the-line location, then realized it was this one. I’d stayed here for a week in late 2025 and it wasn’t too bad, but this visit was the worst. After getting food before check-in, I ate while finishing work and found somebody else’s leftovers in the fridge. Then I noticed there was no blackout curtain, just a see-through one. I called the desk and it rang and rang. They called back shortly afterward and moved me to the same kind of room on the other side. The second room had a working curtain and a clear fridge, so I settled in and showered. The body wash was empty and the dispenser wasn’t even on the wall. Two of the three towels were badly stained. I called again, and this time someone answered quickly and brought up a full body wash container and fresh towels. I travel a lot for work and won’t stay here again when I’m back in the area. I’m a gold rewards member, but they offered no compensation for the hassle. I can’t tell whether housekeeping didn’t care or just missed the details, but either way, I wouldn’t return.

The location is good and the rooms are new, but cleaning is a problem. There was trash left by previous guests, and pet hair covered the carpet and got on my clothes. I’m glad I don’t have allergies, but it’s disrespectful to other guests. They charge so much extra for pets, yet can’t even vacuum properly.
