Extended Stay America Washington D.C. Chantilly

Since the recent buyout, this has become my worst hotel experience. Prices change at the last minute, maintenance won’t fix the running toilet, and the new manager and staff are super rude. Dog poop is everywhere, clean towels and washcloths are hard to get, and room service may or may not clean the room. Staff also go through your belongings when you’re out.

I booked a long-term room for work, but the first one smelled musty. When I test-flushed the toilet, it was blocked and overflowed. The front desk was helpful and moved me to another room, but that one was dirty and its toilet didn’t work either. They had no other rooms, so they put me in a more expensive one for one night and said maintenance would fix my original room today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Peter, the front desk team, and the cleaning crew have all made my stay comfortable so far. Maria and Anna have given great service too. I’d definitely recommend this extended stay to friends and family looking for a home away from home.

For the low cost, it was worth it overall. Management tries to keep the place clean, though I noticed a few things that weren’t the best. Sometimes they may get guests who are messy and noisy.
