The room is huge, with a one-bedroom layout, full kitchen, dining and living area, fireplace, windows in both the living room and bedroom, and a spacious bedroom closet. The bathroom is small, but the shower is lovely. The location is fantastic, with parking within a couple hundred feet and great restaurants nearby. For a one or two day stay, there’s really no need for a car since you can walk everywhere. Check-in went wonderfully, and the Concierge and bellhop Clarence were both very friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying here.

We spent a week at Bluegreen The Lodge Alley this vacation and had a great time. Charelston is such a beautiful city, with lots of fantastic restaurants and places to shop. We always enjoy coming, even though we can’t do things the way we used to. It was lovely having High Cotton connected to the hotel so we could go eat without stepping outside. Loved it.

The staff are professional and have the Southern friendliness you’d hope for, and the resort and suites are very clean. We love coming here because the suites have lots of room and the Charleston location is perfect, with plenty of places within walking distance. The lobby door that leads to High Cotton is a nice bonus. There’s also a courtyard where you can just sit and relax.

The rooms have a rustic style, but they’re nice. The resort is in a historic cotton warehouse, right in the middle of downtown’s historic area and close to the waterfront park. The staff have always been friendly whenever we’ve stayed.

The beds are comfortable, and the rooms feel charming and spacious, with tall ceilings and a fireplace. It’s an ideal location for walking to the best dining and nightlife spots.
