Four Points by Sheraton Charlotte

The room itself was pretty standard, though we had a suite and appreciated the extra space. There were lots of places to eat nearby, walkable in the daytime, and the rate felt good for the location and New Year's Eve. What stood out most was how kind the staff were. Andrea and Miguel welcomed us warmly at check-in and asked about our plans. When I mentioned my dog gets scared by fireworks, they moved us to a corner room to reduce hallway traffic, and that really helped. We got back around 2 a.m. to find someone had thrown up in the elevator. An employee, whose name I didn’t catch, directed guests to the service elevator so we wouldn’t need to take the stairs. Later, when our key stopped working, the same person explained that the keys are sensitive to magnets and stopped what they were doing to help us. They were patient and kind despite the busy check-ins and other problems going on. I wanted to recognize that service, 10/10, five stars, no notes.

What made the stay especially nice was how walkable the neighborhood felt, with food, activities, and places to explore close by. I also found the area comfortable to walk around at any time. The room was apartment-like, almost a one-bedroom, for the price of a regular room, and the amenities met my expectations. A special thanks to the young blonde staff member working around 12 PM on 16/12/2025. She was friendly, professional, and helpful, and left a really good impression. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel.

Ask for Valerie and tell her Kevin sent you. Best stay of my life, absolutely. I've been in hotels where someone would wipe your butt, and others where you sleep facing the door with your 9mm locked and loaded.

After a long road trip, my family and I got a really restful night here. The rooms are roomier and more comfortable than at other hotels in the same price range, and most of the property seems recently renovated. It’s a local business rather than a chain, with friendly staff and good value. Pets are welcome too.
