Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte Ballantyne

We came to Charlotte for a church conference, my mother, sister, and I, and it was our first visit to the area. The hotel was clean and gave us a relaxing place to rest after long conference days. Mr. James at the front desk made check-in quick and easy, checked in on us during our stay, and even suggested places for dinner. Ms. Margaret, who handles breakfast, was warm and easy to talk to. She made all of us feel welcome and at home, almost like family. Those two went above and beyond and made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. I can’t imagine the hotel running as efficiently without them. I highly recommend it for its accommodations and staff.

I’ve stayed here often and keep coming back for the modern, clean rooms and the great location at the beautifully renovated Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Ballantyne. Jose always greets me with a smile, and his hospitality is unmatched. Martha keeps the dining area spotless and serves a tasty breakfast. I met Kwadwo today, too. He’s another great addition to the front desk team. Looking forward to my next visit!

The location in the heart of the newly expanded Ballantyne area is beautiful. There’s plenty of parking, a fitness center, and breakfast, all up to Hampton Inn standards. The hotel was just renovated. But during my four-night stay, nobody came in to make my bed. One night they sent a note to all guests about a staff shortage, which I understood. The rest of the stay is what concerned me. I called the desk and spoke with Jose, who suggested I might have had the DND sign on my door. I didn’t. We left each morning by 8:00 AM. One morning I passed housekeeping in the hall and said good morning. They were working, but only on selected rooms, apparently. I’m not sure what was going on, and this location clearly needs a visit from HQ.
