Kasa Edison House South End Dilworth Charlotte

I liked not having to deal with anyone in person, and the automated system was easy to use, even for someone my age who isn't great with tech. Staff were quick to respond when anything came up. The place was clean, comfortable, and safe, tucked away like a little gem. Great location and good value too. I'd definitely recommend it.

The neighborhood felt safe, and it was an easy walk to a lively part of Charlotte with shops and restaurants. Inside, the room was quiet and cozy, with a modern, artsy feel, useful touches, and all the conveniences we like, including an updated bathroom. The virtual check-in on a phone or tablet was straightforward, and help by text or phone came right away. We had a perfect night at Kasa and I hope to stay again.

The place was clean and set up nicely, and though the room was small, it worked well for me. It was quiet inside, including the neighbors, and the neighborhood was peaceful too. I could walk to downtown Charlotte and nearby grocery stores, which I prefer when I'm traveling. Getting the building and room codes by text during my eight-hour drive made the virtual check-in pretty easy, even though I'd never used one before. I couldn't find a sign identifying the building, so I turned into the first parking lot when GPS said I was there. Minor gripe: the coffee could be better. A Keurig, please! I'd book another Kasa, it was fine.

Self check-in was easy, and the room was clean, stocked, and as described. It felt more like an apartment or dorm than a hotel, which suited me. I slept comfortably temperature-wise; there wasn't a thermostat, but a fan in the room could heat or cool it to your preference. I'd seen comments about noise from the hall and stairs, but the floor fan covered it easily. The neighborhood is walkable, with restaurants, tourist attractions, groceries, and other shops nearby. No problems during my stay, and the price felt fair. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Charlotte.
