We were traveling on vacation last month and stayed one night. The room was clean, breakfast was hot and tasty, and the staff were friendly. For the price, it’s hard to beat. No complaints!

My girlfriend got severely sick after staying here, and we’re at urgent care as I write this. We believe her severe allergic reaction came from the dirty room and dusty heater, and we’re trying to get compensation for the $1,500 in medical bills. I’m extremely disappointed in how unclean this inn was. We waited 30 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk for check-in. When the woman finally arrived, she looked sick and was coughing everywhere, including on my ID and key cards. She apologized and said she was the only employee, and also had to patrol the property because of “homelessness issues.” The first room had dirt and blood on the sheets, insects, white stains on the furniture and couch, mold in the shower, and broken door locks. We asked to move. The next room was only less dirty, but we were tired and settled in. It had red and brown carpet stains, stains on the ceiling, hair in the bathroom, and a stain on the counter. When we turned on the heater, it was dusty and blew out a foul burnt-dust smell. My girlfriend had a severe allergic reaction, so we shut it off after 10 minutes, thinking she’d improve. She kept coughing and developed a fever overnight. The dusty heater, filthy room, and sick employee led her to seek immediate medical attention for a severe allergy that turned into a severe flu. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

The rooms are very dingy, though housekeeping has kept the bedding and linens clean. There are serious maintenance problems for management to address: water damage, a leaking toilet bowl, unsafe supports in the handicap shower, and smoke smell in non-smoking rooms. The front desk staff were very friendly. The price was right for staying with my dog, but there weren’t many options for a potty spot or walking routes.

This place was filthy and disgusting. There was nasty stuff on the walls, and the shower was awful. I didn’t even want our dog sleeping on the floor, and I’m pretty sure there was black mold in the shower. One side of the bed was missing a light fixture, the outlets didn’t work, and my husband got shocked trying to plug something in. This building should be shut down. I’ll NEVER stay here again. Very disappointed, and nowhere near 3.5 stars.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean overall, and it felt safe for kids. The front desk was polite and helpful, and check-in and checkout were easy. I recommend showing up in person. Thanks for accommodating us. I’d pick this place over the other budget hotels that are infested with roaches, and the deposit was cheaper than at those ratchet hotels.
