Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga/Hamilton Place

The best part of my stay was the care Shayla put into housekeeping. She kept my room spotless and refreshed every day, with the bed made neatly, fresh towels, toiletries restocked, and everything in its place. She noticed details I hadn't even realized mattered to me. Shayla was friendly, respectful, consistent, and clearly takes pride in her work. My room felt comfortable and welcoming throughout the visit. I had a wonderful stay, and her effort was a real highlight. The hotel is lucky to have her, and I truly appreciated her work. If you stay here, you'll be well looked after, especially if Shayla is your housekeeper.

We came to Tennessee for my brother's surgery, and it was easy to get to the Chattanooga hospital and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, and I'd stay again, though I'd book a regular room and skip the pool. I reserved a tub-accessible room for my elderly mother, who came with me, but hadn't realized its beds were lower and the mattresses thinner than the usual plush Hampton Inn beds. After two nights, I was stiff and miserable. We tried the indoor pool since swimming helps take pressure off my mother's joints, but it felt only somewhat warm and wasn't warm enough to swim in.

Melody was terrific at check-in today and sent two emails to see if I was enjoying my stay. Cat was working hard to keep the coffee fresh and hot. The facility has been beautifully remodeled, and there's a Texas Roadhouse at the foot of the hill. We had 55 players from Gatlinburg’s Pittman High School arrive for the state championship against Chattanooga. They and their coaches were a great group of young men, well behaved and super quiet last night.

Our soccer tournament stay was great. The welcome we got from the hotel each day after returning from the fields was especially nice. The staff showed real hospitality to our teenage teams and their families throughout the four days, and always greeted us with a smile. Check-in was smooth, the staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the shared spaces and rooms were very clean. We also liked the indoor-outdoor common area where the teams and parents could hang out.
