The king bed was very comfortable, and our room was clean and attractively decorated. We spent four pleasant days at the Monarch while visiting family in Cheboygan. We plan to book there again next time we see them, and recommend the Monarch Motel for visits to the Cheboygan and Mackinac area.

We were traveling from Florida toward the UP and arrived without a reservation. The owner had just put up the closed sign because she was heading out of town, but she still let us have a room and told us where to leave the key. We ended up talking for nearly an hour. The room was perfect, bright, cheerful, and very clean. We walked to dinner and had the best Whitefish. A perfect stop, and we'll definitely come back. Lovely. Absolutely lovely.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The rooms are cute and quaint, decorated in a nautical style. It's a great place to spend the night before heading to Mackinaw City or somewhere else to sightsee.

The owner was delightful and knew a lot about the Cheboygan area. Our room was clean, the sheets were soft, and they even included a box fan. This was a great place to stay, and I'll definitely come back.

I slept amazingly well and was warm and comfortable, even on the coldest night of the season. The customer service was great too. As a traveling salesman, I've found my place to stay in Cheboygan.
