The room had two table lamps and a floor lamp with three mismatched bulbs, but still not enough light at night. There was no drawer space and only four hangers, and the window shades wouldn’t close all the way. The hallways had obvious peeling paint and looked like they hadn’t been painted or cleaned in a long time. The only positives were being across from an amazing dinner and being near the airport. For the price, the hotel is adequate but overpriced. I was here a year ago, and none of the improvements they were supposed to work on had been made. The room key stopped working after one or two uses. After I had it reprogrammed for the third time in one day, I was told not to keep it near a phone, credit cards, or key fobs. When I asked the front desk, they said the system was old, there were 250 rooms to rekey, and they didn’t know when it would happen.

The check-in went smoothly as usual, and the room I had for the night was clean and spacious. They also arranged an airport shuttle for me. The noisy AC was the one problem. It made me uncomfortable and kept me from sleeping properly.

I’m reviewing the airport parking, which was very convenient and easy to use. Our car was safe and sound. Derek picked us up and was excellent, really helpful and courteous. Since it was around midnight, he even checked that our car started before leaving us with it. When we called the pickup number, someone answered right away.
