Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Suites

The breakfast made this stay stand out. Someone cooked omelets to order, and the well organized breakfast bar also had sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, and more. The staff were very friendly too. Gina at the front desk was especially sweet when we arrived in the evening, making sure my husband was looked after and that everything went smoothly. We were passing through Chehalis and chose Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Suites. We tend to stay at Best Westerns because they’re reliably clean and well maintained, and this one lived up to that. The hotel felt comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We’d happily stay here again if we’re stopping in Chehalis.

Our softball team has stayed here before and recently came back. Gia at the front desk is so welcoming and kind, and she loves our players. We always look forward to seeing her encouraging, friendly face. The place is comfortable and clean, and breakfast is included.

That made-to-order omelet with fresh ingredients made the stay worth it. The staff were really friendly, and my room was clean. You could smell the bleach based cleaner, so it was clear they’d cleaned. A dependable pick for a short stay.

The staff were wonderful, kind and ready to help. After I left my glasses in the room, they called me quickly and arranged to ship them, even though it wasn’t inexpensive. I’ve never had a hotel call me about something I left behind. That really impressed me. Breakfast was one of the better hotel bars I’ve had. They even had good eggs, which is rare, and an omelet cook too, though I didn’t try the omelets and only heard they were delicious. The location also worked well: easy on and off the freeway, plenty of activities nearby, food within easy walking distance, and Chevron right next door. AM/PM and another gas station were close too. There’s a family style restaurant two doors down that was much better than Denneys, though I can’t remember its name. Denneys is just across the street. My room had blackout curtains, so the bright floodlights from the dealership next door didn’t bother me. I barely heard voices in the hall even though I was near a busy area, and noise is usually a problem for me. I did hear my neighbor fail to close a door gently. Parking is tight, and inconsiderate parking can make it worse. The powered blinds had no automatic stop, which led to a couple of funny moments. There were no USB outlets, a personal annoyance, but I picked up a foldable wall charger at the Chevron next door that fits in my purse. I wanted to write this review right after my stay and was surprised to see any negative reviews, though there aren’t many. I read a few and chuckled, thinking some people just need to be unhappy. My stay was near perfect. Nothing is perfect, but those little quirks weren’t real problems for me. I don’t expect to be in the area again, but if I am, I’ll absolutely stay here.
